Take Control of Your Health with Northern Clinics
As women we often juggle many roles - sometimes at the expense of our own health. Do you want to be more proactive about your health? Do you want to take steps to reduce your risk of illness? Do you have a health concern you would like to check out?
Northern Clinics have partnered with Medichecks to offer easy access to bespoke women’s blood tests. The tests provide you with an insight into your body, allowing you to optimise your health and wellbeing – often with simple lifestyle changes. You can avail of this service in our Craigavon and Holywood (Belfast) branches without the struggle of obtaining a doctor’s appointment.
In this blog we discuss our blood testing service, what to expect from your appointment and how it can support you on your health journey.
Why get a blood test?
As women, we often juggle many roles—caregiver, professional, partner, and more—sometimes at the expense of our own health. We also experience transitions that bring about changes in our body. Health check-ups are vital, and a women's health blood check is a proactive step towards a better understanding of your body and addressing any concerns before they become major issues.
Blood tests can give you a good insight into your vitamin and mineral levels, thyroid function, hormone health, bone health, level of inflammation, risk of diabetes and heart disease. It can help to diagnose deficiencies, disorders and related health conditions. It can help understand our reproductive health and menstrual cycle or our hormone levels during transition into menopause. Women’s health blood tests can uncover imbalances affecting your wellbeing and energy levels. Early detection of certain conditions can allow for timely intervention which can prevent complications later in life.
Taking control of your health starts with understanding it. A women’s health blood check is a simple but powerful tool in maintaining overall wellness, preventing future health issues and helping you feel like yourself again.
